Don't Call It A Comeback

Hormones are back in alignment and pitiful mood has been destroyed. Back to normal tightly wound and retentive self. Most awesome.

Am heartened by evening's discussion with Democratic colleagues from Connecticut and Illinois who agree Obama is somewhat of flash in the pan. Could also be described as "all show and no go."

All agree that Billary and Obama "aka B. Hussein" could easily sap energy from Democratic base and their constant public appearances could result in new Dem rising to the top. Edwards should hang tight and wait. In the case of presidential candidates, not all publicity is good. Voter fatigue is real. But since none of these candidates fits my bill, what do I care?

Who will Grassley support at summer's end??? I firmly believe that CEG should shout from the mountain tops, or in the case of Iowa the fruited plains, that Republicans should STOP looking for a candidate that meets every single conservative criteria and instead identify the VIABLE candidate who meets the most important and immediate needs of the country. No one person can be all things to all people. Find the one who meets the most critical needs and in him you will find a winner. If you're a social conservative, ANY Republican will be better than what the Democrats have to offer. If you are concerned about national security, McCain and Giuliani are so much more credible than Hillary, Obama or Edwards.

P.S. I saw Secretary Rice at Kinkeads tonight. Simply awesome. A bunch of us were speculating what her secret service name is. I said "Wicked Awesome" (ahem - I had three glasses of Cabernet- what do you expect) or Steinway (she's a phenomenal pianist). Sharon said Fashionista. No one else had any ideas or didn't care. Hey Faithful Two (due to my lack of postings, I've lost a faithful follower) - what do you think?
